Since my first encounter with knit slippers a few months ago, I have had them in the back of my mind.

The pattern I made the slippers from was good, but it was essentially a rectangle that needed to be seamed to fit a foot. I knew there was a better way, so the other day while watching TV I whipped up a pair of these cute ballet house flats.

These have a turned heel and the only seaming that takes place is the kitchener stitch at the front. The best part? They take no time at all!

One skein of yarn, a few hours, and you got yourself some cute new flats to wear around the house!

Make your own by heading over to Ravelry and getting the pattern.

Happy knitting!
